Werewolf by Night: "Panic by Moonlight" - In part one of this prose story, Jack Russell's afternoon is marred by a minor altercation with his stand-offish neighbor, Raymond Coker, and by having to turn down a dinner invitation from his friend Clary Winter. Jack is preparing to make himself scarce as the full moon is rising that evening, and he doesn't want the Werewolf around any potential victims. Before he leaves, however, he sees a motorcycle gang making nuisances of themselves in the courtyard below. After a brief discussion amongst themselves, they ride off. The night passes comparatively uneventfully for the Werewolf, and when he returns to the apartment building as Jack the next morning, he is accosted and beaten by the bikers. When Jack comes to, he learns the gang has taken over the building, and all the tenants are being held hostage in the lobby. Jack can only wait, dreading the next full moon that evening. [Note: this story and its conclusion next issue fit best between pages8 and 9 of WEREWOLF BY NIGHT #17]

"The Maggots!" - a reprint story

"The Waters of Werewolves" - A two-page "Believe It or Not"-type story about a legend of an 18th Century werewolf.

"The Scrimshaw Serpent" -
